Before July 1, 2017 the alphabet keyword for the letter "w" was "why?". Beginning on July 1, 2017, all abc English materials have been changed to a new alphabet keyword for "w": "water".
Although the old "why?" photo was easy for students to remember because of the man's arms in the shape of a "w", many students confused the word "why" with the letter name "y". As a result, the keyword for "w" has been changed to "water".
There have also been some updates to the formatting of the Long and Short Vowels pages in each book (for example, see the slightly different variation of page 32 in abc English: Book One). See the full preview with all of the updates here.

You can print the updated images and words on sticker sheets, cut them out, and place them over the old images in the books. I recommend using Avery 5265 Full Sheet Sticker Labels.
